I'm a Toronto-born artist, living and working in the Philadelphia area.

I earned a degree in illustration from the Pratt Institute in NYC in 2008. I'm trained in painting (oil and acrylic), life drawing, abstraction, and illustration (both digital and traditional).

Making art has always sustained me; as we navigate this challenging time in the world, I've found this to be even more true.

I also believe deeply that ALL of us are artists. Humanity inherently needs to create. It nourishes us and drives us. This knowledge informs my approach to teaching art: I guide the technical learning, my students bring their own unique voices and perspectives.

My goal is to spread art and creative freedom - what a beautiful way to combat the darkness!
